For those of you who don't know me I work in my local library 2 days a week & it is just my dream job. I get to go to work & be surrounded by books all day. I am so passionate abaout reading & I love being able to browse through the books as I am putting them away. I also love being able to recommend books to our readers & its even better when they recommend me a book as it has really made me try things I would never normally have read.
Probably my most favourite author is James Patterson. I have read every single one of his books & I can honestly say that I don't think I have ever read a bad one.Ok a couple may not have been up to his usual standard but because that is so high those have just ended up being good reads rather than excellent reads.
And the best thng about working in the library is that I can order pretty much any book I like as long as it is on our system. This has saved me sooo much money as before working in the library I used to by all my books in hard back as soon as they came out.
So because I love reading so much I thought I would share every now & then what I have been reading with you. You never know it might inspire you to go try & new author or book that you would never normally have even thought about reading.
The first book to have it's mini review is James Patterson's The Sixth Target. This is the 6th book in the Women's Murder Club series & once again I had it read in pretty much one sitting. There is something about the way James Patterson writes that just makes me want to devour the book all in one go. And the best thing about JP is that he churns the books out so you never have to wait too long for the next one.:0)
The Sixth Target was a really, really good read. It had 3 or so different plot lines running throughout but in no way became confusing like other books I have read. Plus we get left with a bit of a cliffhanger regarding the main character so now I am left wanting the 7th book NOW just so I can see what she decides.
If you have never read a James Patterson book then you don't know what you have been missing.
If any of you have read The Sixth Target or are a JP fan then please leave a comment about the book or the author.
