We've had a real busy run of things happening at weekends for the last couple of months so as the weather has been totally pants I've had a total chill out weekend. Not done anything except for pottering around the house & watching TV.
Friday night we caught up on 2 episodes of Ugly Betty. Man I love that show it always has me in fits of giggles. We then started to watch the latest episode of Hustle but I fell asleep in about 5 seconds flat so I'll have to catch up on that another time.
Saturday morning I watched the latest American Idol episode whilst doing the ironing. I loved all the top 4 but I did feel it was time for Lakisha to go home. Still not decided who I want to win. I love Blake because of his uniqueness, Jordin because she has such a fantastic voice & stage presence plus she is only 17!!! and Melinda is just such a professional & gives a solid performance week in, week out.
Saturday evening is more often than not movie night in our house. So the kids chose Nanny McPhee from the cupboard, we all love this film. After the film I caught up on Grease Is The Word. We've got tickets to go & see this in November so I am taking an active interest in who wins. My faves for Danny & Sandy are Danny & Susan, for me they have the best chemistry & I can totally see them in the parts. I wouldn't be upset if Anthony & Alison won though either as they are good as well.
We taped the Eurovision so I quickly whizzed through the entries to see what the competition was like. Thought the UK didn't do too badly considering but as always noone loves us & we finished 2nd from bottom. I really think the UK should boycott the contest next year & withdraw all their financial backing. But hey ho I don't expect we will.
Finished my telly viewing by catching up on the latest episode of CSI. Wow I'm loving this miniature killer storyline. And I am also loving my Vplus box as I record absolutely everything I want to watch & then I can whizz through the adverts & with things like Eurovision most of the acts :0)
Sunday: Another nice lazy day planned for today. I'm hoping to get a bit of scrapping done later & then we have dinner at the in laws so no cooking either. Wahey!
